Black women, why do so many black women marry white when they get to hollywood? Are black men not good enough
There is Iman, eartha kitt, diana ross, tina turner, venus and serena williams, vanessa williams, heath alexander, janet jackson (before jermaine), sade, alfre woodard, garcelle beauvais, tyra banks, naomi campbell, victoria rowell, whoopi goldburg, latoya jackson and so some some another black women are dating and marrying albescent in hollywood, same ground dont they encounter black men, I meet dont understand. Its same when we intend to hollywood we invoke into sellouts, meet same black men, whats up with that. (Like our possess category isnt beatific sufficiency anymore).
it kinda looks like that they are more white guys that are famous?
maybe they don’t see skin color when they start to date someone they see the inside of the person, which is what we should all do anyway.
my conclusion is that a lot of black men are sKatts.
thank you, bye bye
Well even though I’m not a celebrity, I plan on marrying a white man. He’ll give me beautiful babies and I wont have to worry about the common stereotypes that the black families of today face.
I’d call this question like “reverse discrimination.” It’s being ******. What’s wrong, you got a problem with white people?
Racist.
I think it has more to do with money than anything else.
Hollywood doesn’t have a lot of single Black men who make as much money as they do.
Society says it’s OK for the woman not to make as much….but it still frowns when the man doesn’t make as much as the woman.
I tend to think of all the strong Black men marrying superficial, blond White women with fake ta-tas.
I don’t know but I guess that to be in Hollywood and to be an actress you have to be somewhat self-centered. I’m thinking they chose a white man because there are not an over abundance of black males that are actors. Also, they are shmoozing with white men all the time. Not to mention the babies that a black and white couple make? So beautiful!
You know, I asked myself the same question about black men dating white women. I think it’s a taste thing and we shouldn’t be judgmental about it. I dated black women before and I think that the color issue is fading away especially in the metropolitan and suburban areas. It’s a growing process and the word “sellout” is a little too harsh.
There are more White people in general in Hollywood then Black people. If your a Black actress or celeb your more likely to date a White actor or celeb and vice versa. When Tyra date a famous White man? I think people are changing in their opinions of people of another race. Race shouldn’t stop someone from having a good time or making a connection.
Why not? There are no rules in this world that tells a black woman that she MUST date or marry a black man, famous or not. I don’t date black men at all, and I get a lot of problems from black men and women because of it and I wonder why.
It is no one’s business why someone from their race chooses to date someone from another race. If these women found what they need a man, no matter what color he his, and they are happy, why should it be a bad thing? In fact, why should it matter to anyone?
Everyone needs to stop looking at race, period. Just leave it alone. *u*
Good question! I feel the same way. But alot of black men in Hollywood have married or been with white women. I feel maybe the black women dont see no other choice but to cross over because thats what they are left with.
It seems nowadays you’re not good enough if you’re 100% black. Black men just dont want to know. Both of my parents are black but when I was my hair it goes curly Ive been told I look latino, then Im inundated with requests from black guys and when they realise Im ‘just black’ they dont seem interested. For most black guys to be interested nowadays you need to be mixed with White or Indian. Its sad but true.
