Depends on the city. Some cities have a “mojo” site which is free. It isn’t exactly a dating site, but rather a networking site. Still, a lot of people do date from there. I even met my boyfriend there.

One bit of advice: you need to always plan to initially meet the other person in a very public setting and maybe only give out a cell number so you cannot be tracked down until you get to know him better. Good luck!
