You could just go up and ask her straight out.
Ask her for help choosing an item in her store. When she helps you out, say, while she is ringing up the bill “thanks your a life saver, I owe you a drink”. You should see if she is interested by her reaction. If she says something like I’ll hold you to that, you know what to do, if not say something like “about that drink, when are you free?”.

As for cloths, just wear what you would normally wear, she has seen you with your gear on already so no point in dressing up to ask her out. On the date it depends on where you are going so dress accordingly. Aftershave depends on her, some women like stuff that would repel other’s, actually if they sell it where she works ask her if she would date you if you bought one paticalur one and if she say’s yes get one and ask her what time you can pick her up.
