What about games that are active and animated and require partners? Pulling names out of the hat and changing partners every so often?

speaking of speed dating you should check out SpeedDate.com just for fun, you can speed date using a camera and a computer…
anyhow, back to the event… how about a game night? Like Pictionary or Win Lose or Draw? People get really comfortable playing games and let their hair down. Throw in a big of drinking and some food and its a great recipe for people to get to know each other!

Assuming everyone is at least 21 offer light drinks for people to relax.
Make games out if it, add everyones car keys to a bucket and everyone takes a grab and get a chance to just chat with that person.
Have games that everyone can enjoy but not too touchy. Truth and dare is fun but make rules so no one can get touchy or uncomfortable.
Help initiate conversation by adding a friend or two to mingle, don’t let them know you’re friends.
Finger foods are good to help everyone stay full but not worry about appearance.
Just a few suggestions, have a great time!

Here in NZ there is this group called table for 6, this is were 6 random people meet & have dinner with people who have the same likes as them. A friend of mine does it & he says he always has a good night (alone lol) Other than that they do a ‘Mix n Mingle’ drinks night where everyone is invited.
Good luck with your night

i think a lock and key party would be fun also. however, may be costly if this is just a one off. maybe you could do a similar thing with different size nuts and bolts.
or how about have a board and you write a fact about each person on the board, and number them. Then give each person a card with the same numbers listed and spaces next to each number. They have to find the person matching to each fact, and get them to sign by the number, until they have everyone. Have a seperate board af facts for guys and girls (so the guys are finding the girls and vice versa…assuming theyr all straight) maybe you could sort out a prize for the winner.
Good luck tho, i hope you get some good answers and have a great event!
