i never worried about who my brother was with. he is old enough to pick his own woman and doesn’t need my approval.

I realize you care about your brother, but really, you aren’t able to set any criteria for her to meet, unless of course you’ve been asked. Unless you’ve been asked, I suggest you keep your thoughts to yourself or you’ll only wind up losing a relationship with your brother. It’s his choice as to who he dates, and will always be. If you start criticizing the girl he cares about it’s only going cause much more strain on you and your family and you could wind up with a much bigger problem than you can imagine. Let me ask you, does your brother have a checklist and do you need his approval before you can become involved with a boyfriend? If not, how do/would you feel if this were the case?
As long as shes not a slut/prostitute, a drunk, a pothead, or a GID (guy in disguise), she’s fine.
What I want in a girl who would date any of my brothers doesn’t matter. My brothers are the one to choose their girlfriends (by the way all of my brothers are married). There is no “approval or disapproval” necessary whom my brothers dated and married was up to my brothers not me. They didn’t choose my husband for me.
